That sounded interesting. Schuyler would always prefer Kung Fu to her straight combat class, but the idea of getting to bash in all those Americans under the open sun was appealing. Alright, so perhaps that was a little violent, but that was Schuyler’s strength, and she was eager to show it off. As she thought about it she realized she had to see that training facility before she left. Teachers were not opposed to the students “using their environment” during fights, so to speak, and fighting in the facility would give the trinity students that advantage. Getting to see it first and then pretending that she hadn’t though, would give her one.
She didn’t tell Logan about this though, she didn’t want him to think that all she wanted to get the upper hand over her future classmates. It would look like she was just using him, and while that had been her original intention, she thought she'd moved on that just a bit. But people didn’t tend to trust you if they thought that, and she liked him, and she wanted him to like her too. And she wanted him to know that there was more to her than that. so instead just listened and watched him politely.
It seemed he was loosening up after all, what with the chuckle and the joking. Maybe he was warming up to her, or she could just bring that out in him. she couldn't help but smile in a satisfied way, she knew she could do it, eventually. And the nice chick thing had worked, apparently.
She smiled again, giving him a glance. “You know, you’re pretty cute when you're kidding.” Okay, so that was a bit flirtatious, but nothing over the top, and she didn’t accompany it with anything other than a friendly smile, so it didn’t really count.
She was surprised when he offered to accompany her, but also found that she was grateful, he really was pleasant company. She smiled, then, allowing him to catch up to her before setting off. She started walking, slowly. He was the tour guide, but he didn’t really seem like the leading type, which left it to her. Her mindflutteredd back to her earlier thought and she looked over at him, a polite smile on her lips.
“I don’t suppose that training facility is too far out of your way?”
