The main reason Aurora had yet to run off from Trinity and go back to her old life, was because of the new one she was steadily beginning to form with the different people here. So many of the students were so dead set on the values they seemed to havbeen taught about being a spy, that they don't even resemble the teenagers they should be. In a weird way, Aurora felt she needed to be 'teenager' enough for all of them and try her best to bring them some relief of their serious life-style, even if it was just a small amount.
Of course, she was not being put in their shoes. Her Uncle called her almost every evening once school let out and asked her what she learned that day. There wasn't much she could do. She had already come a far way as opposed to improvimg her strength, and yet, it was nowhere near some of the boys and girls who attended the academy. At times, she even wondered why they allowed her to stay with her little above average scores. Her uncle must have soe ties with the school or something.
Well, as much as she did enjoy some classes and learning new things, you just needed to get away at times. Oh, and of course, the absolute best part of leavng campus was...you got to wear your own clothes! If there was something Aurora liked to do in her spare time was show off her little outfits. As much as she loved her life with Linda and the kids, she wouldn't lie, she loved when her Uncle allowed her to go shopping.
Roaming around town, she wondered what she could do to pass the time. She couldn't help but feel pretty cool when she passed people and was a reasonable height beside them. Oh, she loved wearing heels. It made her feel so cool. A childish smile spread across her lips and she began to hum a song, not really caring how loud she may be or who may hear. LET THEM! They would have a free show. Looking down at her boots, she began to walk with a little dance in her steps, letting herself goof off finally. Teachers could be such bores. They always gave her these scary looks like they were going to put her in the corner for time-out or soemthing. Thank god they never did.
She passed right by a store casually, skidding to a halt a few steps away from the display window. Slowly, she began to walk backwards, her head whipping to the side. Her eyes nearly began to sparkle and she hurried to the window, her palms resting against the glass covering as she stared at, probably, the most gorgeous looking stuffed animal. It's eyes enough was calling her to save it from its lonliness in the display. "..Poor teddy...Mama Roary will save you." [/IMG] » Can I cast my cares upon you, can you stand a heavy load? Can I count on you to walk me down that long and winding road? If you promise me these simple things I can guarantee, You can always count on me. Logan loved the weekends, for one simple reason. Normal clothes. He had to wear the normal Trinity attire, slacks and a white dress shirt during the weekdays. Weekends and the town meant he could actually relax. Right now he was striding down the center of the town, wearing wranglers and a plain black t-shirt. A black Stetson was hung low over his head, Logan was sure it was Cole’s. It kept sliding as if it was a tad too big.
The day was nice, bright sun without being too warm. Plenty of people thought it good shopping weather and Logan milled about with the masses, watching them. He was always watching people, and there were plenty of interesting people to watch. The sun filtered down through trees and made the town center look like a movie set.
But Logan didn't have the same cheer everyone else did. It was hard to notice that, as he always had a hard-to-read face. He was trying to keep his spirits up, but today just didn’t seem to be the best day for that. He kept thinking of Resa, and when he managed to stop, he’d remember that this was Cole’s last year and then his brother really would have to leave him. Both thoughts were distressing and unwanted, so he had an MP3 jammed into his ears and the country tunes turned up loud enough that it made him wince every time the guitarist hit an E-chord.
The music was helping, though only those close to him could see the emotions swirling behind his calm and relaxed demeanor. His long legs carried his tall frame aimlessly around and he passed a store front and stopped. He turned, a smile breaking out on his face. Bright pink hair registered first. It was Aurora. He'd known her for years now, even if she was his brother's age. She had her face pressed against the glass and was muttering something to a teddy bear.
He strode over, gliding through the crowd as he was trained to be able to do. He could have just said hello, but Aurora had this thing about her that always brought out the teaser in boys. He wrapped his left arm around her waist, keeping her from bolting, and trapping her close to him so that any flailing limbs wouldn't be extremely painful. His right hand, just as quick, slid over her face. She was so tiny, his whole hand covered both eyes. He didn't say anything, since there wouldn't be time before she reacted. And the silence was the best indicator of who it was.

Aurora began to let her eyes wander around the area surrounding the teddy bear. If only she could find a price, then she could check if she had enought money to give the poor baby a home. Just as she thought she saw a small paper, something slid around her waist. Her brown eyes widened greatly and just before she was about to let out a gasp, her mouth was covered, causing the noise to be muffled within the palm of the strangers hand.
A milliion thought began to race through the small girl's head about what would become of her if she didn't do somethinng soon. When the ultimatum of her being sold as a sex slave and being shipped to another country crossed her mind, she knew she had to do something. And fast. "Okay...use my height to my advantage....use my height to my advantage..Wait. What can my height even accomp- are those pancakes I'm smelling? Oh, boy, they smell- NO! Focus, Aurora! FOCUS!"
Her small and frail looking hand came up to rest above the one around her waist, preparing herself to try and flip the person over her shoulder the way she'd been taught. But, then..."...Eh? He hasn't moved..." The small details began to enter her mind and register. So whoever it was had big hands...was very tall...and was quiet...
"LOGAN!" Her palpitating heart was forgotten at the tmie being with her over excitement in this realization. A bright smile - ont that was alomst impossible in size - was apparent on her face. She pulled his hand away from her eyes and abruptly turned in his arm, tilting her head to look up at him. "IT REALLY IS YOU." She jumped with joy and wrapped her arms around his mid back, the side of her head resting on his chest. She indulged herself in the embrace given, as if making up for all the time she hadn't been able to see him. You see, Logan was her sweetheart friend that she just adored, but because they were in different grades, they didn't have much time to see eachother at school.
She blinked and pulled away, looking back up at him with narrowed eyes, thinking about what had just been done to her. "Logan! I thought you were going to sell me as a sex slave! AND then Teddy wouldn't have a home! Apologize!" She pointed at the teddy bear, who seemed to be looking at them, in the display window. Her attempt to be serious was all in vain, sincer her quivering lip gave in and she began to laugh. "It's so sad that I never get to see you, Logan. Ah, you should come shopping with me today! Yes?" She grabbed his hand and began to pull him along with her. With Logan's hand covering most of her face, Logan had expected Aurora's reaction time to be faster. Of course, he reminded himself, this was Rory. She did everything all screwy. As she stiffened in his arms, but remained still, he frowned. Just as he was thinking about saying something, she pried his hand loose and whirled. His MP3 was too loud for him to know what she said, but he read her words in her face and actions, though he was working on reading lips. When Aurora realized her guess was right, she sprang on him. He hugged her back, even though he had to stoop about two feet to do so. He smiled at the thought, Sasquatch and Pixie, they were perfect codenames.
Pink hair swirled as she reprimanded him. He laughed throatily at her words, which he deciphered this time. He had no doubt that was what she'd thought, but it amused him that she'd frozen. He glanced at the teddy bear she was talking about and his smile widened. Why hadn't he thought about seeing her a long time ago? There was always something about Rory that made him smile. Music was still blaring loudly from his MP3, so much so that she could probably hear it. He pulled the earbuds out, turning the machine off and sliding it into his pocket, just in time to catch the end of her sentence, 'with me today, yes?'
He was trying to decipher what she was talking about, since he had caught the glad to see him sentence, before he turned away to put away his MP3. He opened his mouth, but that was all he had time for before she had latched onto his hand and started trying to yank him down the block. He let her, rumbling softly, "It's great tah see ya too, Rory. Where exactly are we goin'?"
He never really knew what to expect with the tiny Pixie, but that was one of the best things about her. Logan spent too much of his time being serious, Rory spent all hers being spunky. However, he had a feeling that she might be trying to commandeer him into a shopping spree, because he'd missed that one sentence when he'd turned. He never much liked those. Shopping was was over his head.

Aurora began to turn her head side to side as she pulled Logan beside her, searching for something where she could shop, but he could look around. She was so inconsiderate to take him into a girly store where he'd be out of place. When a husky voice brought her out of her train of thought, she slowed down, not having realized she was pulling Logan rather than just walking with him.
After letting go of his hand, she looked up to him and pursed her lips as she thought of the different possibilites where they could go. She had really wanted to buy a bathing suit so she could maybe go to the pool when she had time but...that could wait for later. She'd feel more comfortable asking a girl's opinion on the looks of what she was going to buy. She shrugged, unable to come up with a sure answer to Logan's question.
Then, she knew. "Oh..OHH! I got it. Let's go buy some ice cream. Oh, man. That sounds so good right now." She nodded enthusiastically, enough to answer for him as well. And just like that, she began to head in the general direction that she remembered an ice cream stand was. There was something she wanted to ask Logan, because she was sure his opinion would be more honest than Damon's or anybody else for that matter.
"Oh, yeahhh~ Hey, Logan? I was thinking of dying my hair a platinum blond. Or should I keep it pink?" She took a strand of her hair in between her fingers, indifferent whether she should switch herself. She'd had this hair for so long that it was hard to imagine what she may look like without it. What is she looked hideous and all her friends shunned her from her life. A frown began to pull her lips down a tthe thought of eternal lonliness, but then she saw the ice craem cart come into view and began to beam. "What flavor should I get? Chocolate?...Strawberry? A little of all of them?" She tilted her head side to side as her finger tapped her lower lip, voicing her thoughts out loud.
As if just in time, a small rumbling noise came from her stomach and a bright red shade covered the top of her cheeks. She looked down to her stomach and placed a hand on it, looking up at Logan and laughing sheepishly to hide her embarrassment. "I guess we are right in time...heh.."

The day was still nice and warm, and Logan used one hand to push his brother's hat out of his eyes. They really shouldn't have gotten identical hats. Though, Cole having the bigger head really amused Logan.
Aurora finally released his hand from the death grip she had on it. He smiled as he flexed it slightly. She was tiny, but she knew how to hang on. They continued to walk aimlessly down the street. She was quiet, and he didn't interrupt her because he knew she was trying to decide where to drag him. He wasn't too worried about letting her pick where to go. Rory was pretty good at being considerate. She knew he really would be out of place at a girly store. In fact, being sixteen and six foot three made him feel out of place everywhere.
And she proved him right again, yelling ice cream. He nodded in acceptance, ice cream did sound pretty good. Maryland was still hot from the summer, and his country clothes weren't the best to keep cool in. He followed her as she scampered over to the ice cream place. At her serious question, he studied her. He figured she hadn't asked very many people, seeing as the people she talked to were about as serious as she was. So, Logan nodded seriously. Cerulean eyes squinted lightly as he tried to imagine her blond. It was hard, since she'd had pink hair for quite some time. Slowly, he shook his head "Nah, Rory. Ya were born tah stand out. Sides, the pink's perty cute."
She wouldn't be Pixie if her hair was a platinum blonde, it was too normal for her. As she mumbled about which ice cream to pick, which was just her thoughts being spoke out loud, Logan ordered a mint chocolate chip. It had taken him some time to realize she voiced her thoughts as much as she really did talk. It kept him on his toes, trying to figure out what she wanted him to answer. He smiled as he heard her stomach grumble. He nodded at her words. He accepted his ice cream cone and handed the cashier some money. As he did, he muttered a low, "I'm payin' for hers, too." Receiving his ice cream, he turned and leaned against the display case, seeing if she had chosen what to get yet. Taking a bite, he never licked ice cream, he cocked his head, "Why were ya thinkin' bout changin' yer hair anyways?"[/BLOCKQUOTE]

Aurora look up to Logan gingerly, very interested on his thoughts about her possibly painting her hair. Closely, she watched as he contemplated his answer, perking up when he began his response. At first, she wasn't sure whether to feel relieved or sad that she was told staying pink was for the better. Her eyes darted sideways to look at her hair color as she admired its bright shade. In the end, she gave a small laughter in her little voice, nodding her head. "Yeah, I guess your right." She agreed with everythign except the part of standing out. She wondered if it ws really that eye-catching, because she'd just done it because it was such a pretty color. "I like pink." She nodded her head, as if now fully convinced she would not paint it.
Large brown eyes followed the ice craem handed to Logan, narrowing when she began to think that the mint chocolate looked very appetizing at the moment. But..mint made her a bit drowsy sometimes and she was ready for a full's day of fun. She stepped in front of the display cause, bobbing her head as she contemplated. There was basically a full out war taking place in her mind as she tried to choose just one flavor out of the all. "Okay, I think I'm ready. Listen carefully." She directed the man, although the authority in her voice was anything but convincing with her petite voice. "I want a triple scoop cone. I want the bottom to be chocolate with pink sprinkles - gotta have the best for last. The middle is going to be vanilla with no sprinkles- the filller in between. And the top will be strawberry...with all the different colors of sprinkles."
She looked up at the guy who was to build her masterpiece, looking at her with an odd expression. She giggled and hipped on the tip of her feet barely, getting hyped up at the thought of the yummy goodness. "It's going to be a party!...in my mouth." She smiled and beamed when he handed her - after a little difficulty of remembering the order - her ice cream. Her free hand searched in her purse for her wallet, but the man whom she was looking at shook his head and pointed to Logan. It took a bit to register, but she realized what had happened. Logan was the absolute best. He bought her ice cream. If she could, she'd probably marry him right now.
Aurora looked up to Logan and got as high up on her tiptoes when she got in front of him. Her free arm wrapped around him loosely and she rested her head against his chest. "Thank you, Logan~ I love you soooo much." She giggled and pulled back, starting on her desert. She shrugged and began to walk, figuring he would follow. "My uncle said pink caught to much attention this summer, so I started thinking of ather colors to go with. I guess i'll just wear hats on our assignments." She took another bite, wincing when she'd gotten the coldest part on the sensitive part of her tooth. Just as quickly, she began to eat it again. "Wan somf?" (Want some?" She offered, her mouth filled with ice cream.

Mint chocolate chip. It was the Sawyer brothers favorite. Logan loved the minty soothing flavor, with the added comfort of chocolate. Cole claimed to love the bite, but Logan had a feeling even Cole liked things calm and normal every once in a while.
Which is exactly what Aurora was good for. Even though she wasn't calm or normal, being with her made Logan feel like the day was. He had already finished homework, and he'd actually managed to go to bed the night before at a decent hour. He'd always been an insomniac, so getting five hours of sleep was a miracle.
He nodded as she agreed to keep her hair pink. It wasn't that Logan thought she'd look ugly blonde, she just wouldn't be the true Pixie. Pink was Aurora. Simple as that. He smiled as Aurora ordered her ice cream. It was complicated, but he'd had no doubt that it would be. As the man complied with her order, Logan watched the people walking bye. He started humming, as he often did. This was a country tune by the name of 'I'm so Lonesome, I could cry'. Not that he was actually lonesome by any means, he'd just always liked the tune of it and it often popped into his head.
He turned as Aurora realized he'd paid for the 'party in her mouth'. He hugged her back and shrugged. The Sawyer boys shared one common trait, Southern hospitality. As she started walking, he followed. She explained why she'd thought about changing her hair. He nodded, "Makes sense. And hats are always good, 'cause that would be what people'll 'member bout ya. I cain't do anythin' to change my height."
But, he did have a lot of people say he was easy to lose in a crowd. Logan just had the ability to disappear completely, if he wanted to. He shook his head as Aurora offered her mountain of ice cream. He was a finicky eater, and the only ice cream flavor other than mint chocolate chip that he liked was plain vanilla. He took another bite of his ice cream, seeing as he had no delicate teeth. [/BLOCKQUOTE]

Aurora, having been able to pick up a low hum coming from Logan smiled and began to tilt her head side to side. With the huskiness only a man could have in their voice, Logan was enchanting, even when he simply hummed. She wasn't quite sure is she knew the song, but she was pretty she had heard it a time or two before by the beat alone. Then again, Aurora got music jumbled up in her brain often. There were even times when she would start to hum one song, but get lost within other songs who held similar beats. By the end, she had hummed at least ten other songs with the original intent of just one.
There was a lot that went on in her head sometimes. Either because she tried to flood her mind with happy thoughts in hopes that she would radiate her happiness over to the people around her or because thinking about sad things just got her really down. What better thing to do that think about magical unicorns and finding gold at the end of a rainbow to keep a smile on your face. Well, friends like Logan helped her smile remain genuine, ESPECIALLY when they paid for her ice cream.
The small girl didn't just walk, she had a small hop in her step. She looked up to Logan as he explained covering her hair would be the better alternative since her hair seemed to be her identity. She smiled and nodded. She was the only one she'd ever seen with pink hair. He was right, this was who she was. "I like your height, Logan!~" Smiling, she looked up to him, completely honesty in her words. Even though Rory was exceptionally nice, there were times when she gave you the cold hard truth for your sake. But, being tall was very appealing on men. Besides, with Logan, his height was special to Aurora because of the first time they met. "If you weren't tall, I would have never noticed you in the middle of the room when I first came here. And if that happened, we might have never become friends."
At a realization, she smiled and let out a short giggle. "I guess it's the same with me and my hair, huh? Maybe that's why you became my friend." When he rejected her offer, she shrugged and continued to eat happily. She let out a pur of pure satisfaction when she finished the strawberry scoop, moving on to the vanilla. "Hey, Logan? Before this year is over, you've got to teach me how to ride a horse. I've always wanted to learn. You know, I've never even seen them up close but I think they are so pretty~." Turning her head to the side, she wondered where they might go. She figured they would come across something that caught her attention. Seine thing always did. Cole always joked that if they weren’t going to make it as spies, the two of them could be an amazing band. Of course, the humor there was that Logan would have to be the silent and foreboding guitar player, while Cole lip-synced over Logan, because Logan wouldn’t sing in front of others, and Cole plain couldn’t. Logan hummed a bit more, his deep bass barely rumbling over the noise of the crowd. Still, Aurora bobbed her head from side to side. He smiled. Things were simple with Aurora, just as simple as they were with Cole. Everyone else tried to change him, or tried to figure him out, both of which never happened. Aurora and Cole simply let him be. That was probably the reason he was such a firm and loyal friend.
He chuckled as she proclaimed about his height. ”Good. At least one of us does.” He said it with a smile, to let her know he wasn’t being depressed or anything to do. Height was height, and though sometimes he wished to be a bit shorter, he couldn’t really change that. He smiled widely in as she reminded him of how they’d met. Of course. How could he have forgotten? He’d noticed her pink hair almost immediately as well, since that had been all he’d seen for a moment when she’d rushed up to introduce herself.
He laughed as she spoke once again. The two of them, both being rather misfits in the tough spy world, had kinda banded together, despite the year difference in age. Sometimes, though, Logan felt maybe he was the older one. He finished the ice cream and moved onto the cone as she spoke once more. His eyes widened. She had ridden a horse yet? ”Ya’d love ‘em. My Uncle has Cole’s and mine up at his house. Maybe I can get him tah bring here one day?”
Their Uncle had about twenty acres out in the middle of nowhere, or at least as close as one got in Maryland. He kept Cole’s mare, Devastation and Logan’s stallion Hothead and his mare Summer there. The two boys had spent most of their summer herding cattle down in Georgia, so they hadn’t gone on a pleasure ride in sometime.

Although Aurora absolutely loved to spend time with Damon and be a little rebellious at times, she found pure joy with Logan. With him, things could be a tad bit more relaxed. There was a part of Aurora which was much like Logan, wanting to shy away from the world at times and reflect on many things. But, with a fear of being alone in this new world she'd been brought into by her uncle, she always attached herself to someone.
When Logan joked about his height, she pouted slightly, hitting him jokingly with the palm of her free hand. "Hey, now. None of that." She laughed, knowing very well he'd been joking with her about her being the only one to like his height. "Hey, at least you don't get confused as a little cute. Whenever I come out alone on weekends, little kids come up to me and ask me to go and play with them." And to be honest, she'd accepted once or twice...or more. Hey, it was fun playing with little kids sometimes. And having been the elder back at the orphanage, she'd come to love kids and was a very good older sister type of person when she wanted to be.
Aurora peekes sideways when she heard the crunch of Logan's cone, narrowing her eyes slightly. She began to eat a bit more quickly, not wanting to have half of hers still by the time he had finished. Hearing that he would ask to bring his horse to be brought down, Aurora smliled widened to a great extent, her eyes practically sparkling with excitement. "A-are you serious? I, mean...if it isn't a bother, that would be gerat!" She continued licking her ice cream quickly, thinking that she would actually be able to ride a horse soon enough. "Oh, I bet they are absolutely gorg-"
She winced, a sharp pain stabbing in her temple. She brought up her free hand, looking at Logan with one eye, the other shut tight. "Ow..brain freeze..." She shoved her thumb into her mouth, pushign it against the pallete, hoping it would go away soon. These things could be so painful. When it was gone, Aurora sighed, relieved. She looked up at Logan, smiling as if nothing had just happened. "Oh! Like I was saying, I bet your horse is gorgeous! What are their names?" What was a better way of spending such a nice day? Of course, most would probably have thought ice cream and quality friend time immediately, but Logan was Logan. He was happy he wasn't moping around his room. Crunching on his ice cream cone and listening to people and Aurora was contentment. His hat slipped into his eyes once again, and frowning, he pushed it back. They were going to have to label them or something. Cole was probably getting a headache with Logan's on. The thought made him smile.
He smiled as she spoke. "Let me guess, ya were too nice tah tell 'em no." He could just see her running around with toddlers. They were all about the same height to him, much too short. As she brightened up about the horses, he nodded seriously. "Yeah, I'm serious. It wouldn't be a bother." He started to reply about the gorgeous thing, he was sure there wasn't a prettier palomino than Summer, when her face went all screwy.
For a moment, he stared in confusion. Then he began to laugh as she explained. He nodded, smiling softly. As she asked about his horses, he smiled broadly. "I've got two. Hothead, my roper stallion, he's a great big ass when he wants tah be, but I love 'im all the same. Summer's my girl, just a normal reiner. She's sweeter than honey. Now, Cole's got Dev, short for Devastation. She's his horse alright. Meaner than a pissed-off snake, but she'd do anythin' for him.'He finished the ice cream cone, sighing contentedly.
He smiled at her. He seldom talked about his horses, because he often blabbed more about them than anything else he ever did. Of course, this was Aurora and she wouldn't care what exactly he talked about. There was just something about horses that opened him up. Of course, that had been how Resa and he had met. He frowned a bit at that. Resa had been known by all the students, and she had been a lot more bubbly and the A-lister type than he was. Her death hadn't shocked just him.
He pushed his hat up, brushing away the annoyingly sticky thoughts. Focus on today, the nice and normal conversation he was having with Aurora. He pointed at her ice cream cone, "Yer drippin'."

Aurora turned up to look at Logan, blushing the slightest bit when he seemed to have read her mind when she had remembered playing with several kids in the park when they'd asked her to play hide and seek with them. "I-..psh, No. I just...I was gathering intel. Little kids could be bad too, you know." She rose her eyebrow and nodded, trying to seem as if she had totally not wanted to go play with the kids. I mean...who would do that? She smiled, her mind going back to how much fun she'd had on those little horsies you could get on that were on a spring that moved all over the place.
To say she was excited to see Logan's horses was somewhat of an understatement. She listened closely to Logan, genuinely interested to know about his pets. She laughed when he called one of his horses his 'girl', thinking it was absolutely adorable. One thing she loved about Logan was that he wasn't scared to say things like that that showed a bit more of his sensitive side. When he brought up his brother's horse, she blinked, wondering why someone would call their horse such a name. But then, she learned just how spot on the name was when Logan explained the horse's personality.
When she noticed a shift in expression from her close friend, her own smile had fallen, wondering what had brought the certain change. She never liked to see him sad and always tried her best to cheer him up when she came across him when she saw him like that. She turned forward when he came back from what she guessed was deep thought, acting as if she hadn't been staring at him with concern. When Logan pointed out her melted ice cream, she looked down at it, frowning. "Awh, man. I hate when this happens..."
She pouted and then blinked, realizing this was the perfect opportunity. She could make Logan smile again. Turning to face him, she got on the very tip of her toes and snatched the hat off of his head, the idea popping into her head when she had seen him adjusting it. She got down on her feet and put it over her head, tossing her ice cream into a trash can as they walked by one. "Let's go play with kids. It's much more fun than you think." Laughing, she began to walk with a skip, hurrying in the direction of the park. "You better hurry, Sawyer~! Or you won't get your hat backkk~" O U T F I T ▏➜ H E R EP A R T N E R ▏➜ LOGAN SAWYER N O T E S ▏➜ Time to SMILE again, Logan~ x3 C O U N T ▏➜ 4 2 6

Logan laughed as she spluttered about gathering intel. ”Right. Bet the best terrorists are toddlers.” He sighed and shook his head at the thought. He could honestly see her running around with little kids. Something about her screamed motherly. It made him laugh to think of the last time he’d been her height. He’d been about ten. After that, he’d kinda sprouted. A lot.
She got the drip and Logan was busy forcing his hat to stay on and trying to not think about the time he’d taught Resa how to ride. For a moment, he was completely unaware. Which is how she was able to snatch his hat off his head. He looked up, ”Hey!’ He couldn’t help it, he laughed. He started after her, and since his legs were quiet a bit longer, all he had to do was speed-walk to keep up with her. His bass laughter was loud enough now for others to hear. He caught up and snatched her around her waist. Grabbing the hat back, he tickled her ribs, knowing she always put on quite a show when he did.
He took a step back, now that they had entered the park. He placed the hat back on, giving her a glare that was marred by the smile on his face. This was why he kept Aurora around. What better fun was there than her? He spotted the water fountain and smirked. It was at the entrance to the park and they were walking towards it. Since she had decided to be mischievous, he figured he deserved some kind of payback.
He snatched her up quiet easily and deposited her in the fountain. It wasn’t deep, her shoes would be the only thing wet. He was going for the whole surprise factor anyway. Then, he smacked his hand on the water, sending a spray of water on her. After that, he turned and hurried through the crowd. Pixie was small, but there was no doubting she’d get him back. He laughed, ducking so that he wasn’t the tallest in the crowd. Here was a great test. There was no one better at disappearing than he was.
After walking about thirty yards or so, he spotted a bench. He sat down on it, sliding his hat forward to partially cover his face. He was having a hard time not laughing, as he waited for her to reappear. Aurora Phelan was definitely the best friend to have when someone was trying to be melancholy. She just wouldn’t let him.

Aurora kept on moving forward, glancing back and laughing louder when she saw that Logan was closing in on her. Just as she looked forward and was about to make a turn, she was snacthed up, letting a small 'yip' escape her lips. "Logan! Let me go!" She couldn't contain the laughter that came from her mouth as he tickled her, trying to escape from his hold by pushing on his arms, her stomach beginning to hurt with the laughter he was causing. "H-heyy! S-STOP!...It..ha...it tickles."
When she was put down, she was out of breath, a smile still noticeable on her face from the tickling he'd just finished doing. Just as she was beginning to coem down from ths small high, she was snatched again, this time actually being brought up off the ground. She blushed, looking around. "L-Logan! People are looking!" nobody had really noticed yet, but she had wanted to be let down. She held the bottom of her dress down, shutting her eyes in pure embarrassment. Maybe if she shut her eyes, nobody would notice her.
Then, all of a sudden, her feet were damp. She opened her eyes, looking up to see Logan's figure retreating into the crowd right after she was splashed in the face. She puffed her cheeks out and stomped her feet. "LOGAN SAWYER, YOU ARE GOING TO GET IT GOOD~!" She huffed and narrowed her eyes, staying still as she followed his trail as far she she could before being engulfed by the crowd of people. She grinned and stepped out of the water. "This is war." Indeed, it was.
She began to head towards a easliy recognizable area, some kids running towards her when they remembered her little play dates with them before. She whispered to them and they began to follow her as she began her search for the sasquatch. After a while, she noticed a rather tall figure on the bench. What most gave him away was the hat. She nodded to the kids wh oran towards him, their giggling ringing in her ears. Some hopped on the bench, few actually on him and began to grab different limbs.
Aurora slowly walked over, picking his hat off again and placing it over her head, giving him a victorious smirk. "Never mess with us little people. We stick together." She giggled and moved forward, her fingers going to his sides before beginning to tickle him, the kids joining in with her.
